Patrick J. Gainey, M.D.

Dr. Patrick Gainey is a Clinical Instructor in the Department of Neurology at the UMDNJ-Robert Wood Johnson Medical School, where he graduated in 1988. Dr. Gainey did his Internship at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick, NJ. His Neurology training included a Residency in the UMDNJ-New Jersey Medical School, as well as a Fellowship in Neurophysiology.

Dr. Gainey started his practice, Neurology Associates of Central New Jersey, with Dr. Friedlander in 1993, before merging with Dr. Menken and Dr. Behar to form Princeton and Rutgers Neurology in 1999.

Dr. Gainey sees General Neurology patients with an emphasis on M.S., headaches and migraines, and periperal nerve disorders. He is also trained in the administration of Botox, which is used for migraine therapy.

He is affiliated with Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick, St. Peter's University Hospital in New Brunswick and the University Medical Center at Princeton.

Dr. Gainey is Board certified in Neurology by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. He is a Member of the American Medical Association, the Medical Society of New Jersey and the American Academy of Neurology.
